Spoke to Matti this afternoon, just prior to what I will presume was the successful third trip to the loo (hey dude, when you read this, you did say you'd prefer people knew everything! ;) She sounded well and normal (normal is as normal does, after all ;) and surprisingly un-high although I suspect there is still a morphine party going on in her bloodstream, but apparently the worst pain at the moment is the IV in her hand. The drains are apparently doing really well, the breast care nurses are/were coming to see her (I did ask and didn't get an answer, how do I get that job? ;) and she may be going home tomorrow or the day after (I think). Um, what else - there's a fair bit of swelling at the moment so they don't feel a lot smaller but we are sure they really are, since it was mentioned that one would hope breasts would be smaller after a breast reduction. ;) Mainly though she's doing really well and is quite amazed by how many people are wanting news and sending good wishes.

I also mentioned that May 12th shall henceforth be known as Small Boob Day among our lot. She seemed pleased. :D

Hi all, this is leyenn, just posting to say I just got the text to say Mooster is out of surgery (she went in later than planned it seems) and is in recovery but apparently doing fine. They're waiting on the ward but could be an hour or so before she comes round. Her parents send their love to everyone for their care, so I've sent mine back on behalf of lj.

More news as we get it. But yay. :)
